Himmlers graue Eminenz, Oswald Pohl : und das Wirtschaftsverwaltungshauptamt der SS

Documents the activities of Oswald Pohl (a close associate of Himmler) and his helpers in the running of the ramified and highly profitable SS industrial complex. From March 1942, the concentration camps, with their supply of forced labor, became part of this complex. SS industries also used or sold clothing, household goods, etc., taken from Jews. At the Nuremberg Trials, Pohl was condemned to death, but many of his associates received relatively light sentences or went free.
