A man shows a small animal to three young girls. Apeldoorn was home to a children's home for orphans of people killed by the Germans. The Dutch government graciously offered a venue for this JDC-supported home (with funds from UJA). The nearby townspeople in Apeldoorn welcomed the children with ceremony and gifts. Children recovered from disease and were restored to normalcy in this friendly and kind atmosphere.
