A heavy pall of smoke rises over the Arado Focke-Wulf plant at Tutlow (about 15 miles from Anklam) as the assembly plant and air base are pounded during a concentrated daylight attack during a concentrated daylight attack by B-24 Liberators of the Eighth Air Force Easter Sunday, April 9, 1944. One large workshop, small hangar and barracks were hit and another large workshop was left in flames.
