American Military Government in Germany. The Reichsbank Building on Richard Wagner Strasse in Beyreuth, in which the Military Government has established headquarters. In this building, licenses, identification cards and permits to operate places of business are issued. Lawyers take an oath here and civil servants are examined for Nazi Party affiliations. This is one of the buildings taken over by the Military Government fot the opration of controls. German officials have their own headquarters and only come to these offices when summoned or report on activities under their jurisdiction.
