U.S. hospital helps young German. Under the fierce glow of two electric light bulbs, surgeons, medical orderlies and a young American nurse work against time to save the llife of a nineteen-year-old German prisoners, in an emergency hospital near the front in Normandy. The prisoner had two gunshot wounds and a fractured leg. One of the gunshots had punctured his intestines and bladder, necessitating an immediate operation. The prisoner, who came from a small town near Nurnberg, was in his first campaign.
