Resignation of Dr. Benes. The president of the Czechoslovak Repbulic, dr. Benes, has resigned. General Sirovy, is acting president. In a farewell broadcast, Dr. Benes said: 'I do not leave the ship because the sea is stormy, but because it is a political necessity.'
