New York, America, May 6. Carrying a copy of Commander C.E. Rosendahl's book 'What about Airships?' Dr. Hugo Eckener, 70 year old German Airship Pioneer, is seen arriving here on board the liner Hansa today to renew efforts to obtain helium, a non-inflammable gas on which the United States has a monopoly, for the dirigible lz 130. His arrival was on the first anniversary of the explosion which the wrecked the Hindenburg. Dr. Eckener declared it absurd to believe Germany might use helium for military purposes. The master builder and navigator of lighter-than-air craft was saluted by five navy blimps outside the harbour here.
