Memorial publication in honour of Serge Katzmann - no date

This memorial publication consists of drawings and cartoons by Serge Katzmann and a short script about the founding of North Holmwood Boys' Club by the depositor's father. Serge Katzmann, born in 1920, first came to Great Britain to study English under the depositor's father in 1935. He became close friends with the depositor, James E Somner. On his return to Paris he enrolled at art school. He joined the resistance after the outbreak of war but was denounced and eventually died in one of the notorious camps. Serge Katzmann's mother continued correspondence with the depositor's mother for some 30 years and on the latter's death received from her the drawings which make up this deposit.

The publication is still in its original plastic folder.
