Collection of the Abteilung Feindvermögen (Department of Enemy Property) in the Netherlands, 1940-1945
 
 The Abteilung Feindvermögen (Department of Enemy Property) was established in The Hague by the Germans as a department in the Generalkommissariat für Finanz und Wirtschaft (Office for Finance and Industry) in 1940; order VO 26/1940 established that the Germans would administer all property owned by people who were defined as the Enemy in the Netherlands, meaning the property of Dutchmen residing in the Allied countries, and the property of citizens of the Allied countries residing in the Netherlands or owners of property and bank accounts in the Netherlands; the Abteilung Feindvermögen, under the administration of Dr. Schröder, set the directives for the organizations that dealt with the execution of the policies for the confiscation of Enemy Property, including the Deutsche Revisions und Treuhand for the administration and confiscation of bank accounts, investment portfolios and monies, and the Geschäftsstelle für Verwaltung feindlicher Warenlager for the confiscation of goods; the Abteilung Feindvermögen was responsible for the administration of the Jewish property in the Netherlands in 1942; the offices of the Abteilung Feindvermögen were moved to Arnhem in 1943 and to Almelo in 1944;

 Documents regarding citizenship and residency of persecuted people, 1940-1944;
 Questionnaires regarding property and letters filled out for the Abteilung Feindvermögen, concerning exemption from the confiscation of property, 1940-1942;
 Newspaper announcement, regarding Enemy Property legislation, 1940;
 Notes written by Schröder, regarding the confiscation of property, 1941-1944;
 Circulars of the Wohnungs und Siedlungswesen (Construction and Housing) department in The Hague, regarding the confiscation of Jewish-owned real estate, 1941.
