Deposition of Hela Los Jaffe regarding Bergen-Belsen
Hela L. Jaffe was born in Warsaw, Poland, in 1923 and is a survivor of Bergen Belsen concentration camp. Consists of a duplicate copy of a Polish-language deposition by Hela Los Jaffe completed in October 1965. In the deposition, Jaffe describes her experiences of life in the Warsaw ghetto, imprisonment in several concentration camps, including Auschwitz and Bergen-Belsen, and her involvement in efforts with Hadassah Rosensaft, formerly Ada Bimko, for the organization of a children's home and medical aid for children in Bergen-Belsen.
