Emil Knebel was a cinematographer known for Andante (2010), Adam (1973), and Wild Is My Love (1963). He was one of the cameramen who recorded daily coverage of the Eichmann trial in Jerusalem (produced by Capital Cities Broadcasting Corp and later held academic positions in Israel and New York teaching filmmaking at universities. Róża Zyto was born Róża Plac on October 10, 1922. She was the only child of Juda Idł Plac and Gitla Ganc Plac. Idł Plac was a labor activist in Warsaw. Johannes Vosskamp (1896-1945) was a veteran of World War I and so were his brothers. It is unclear when he became a Nazi party member. In World War II, he was drafted at the age of 46 (ca. 1942) as part of "Organisation Todt" behind the lines. He was sent to Serbia and was declared "missing in action" at the end of the war in 1945.

Contains a memoir which Alice Shragai [donor] describes as a kind of diary about her experiences growing up in Kosice, Czechoslovakia, her experiences with anti-Semitisim, and involvement with a Zionist organization called Betarim. She discusses her life in the Riga ghetto and deportation to Auschwitz along with her return home and eventual emigration to Israel and later the United States.
