U.S. Army trucks roll along Nazi autobahn. Truck convoys of the First U.S. Army roll eastward along Germanys ultra-modern autobahn (highway) March 27, 1945, only a few weeks after the passing of German troops to the Western Front over the same route. First Army troops first seized a section of the vital roadway March 17.
