This collection of short biographies of Holocaust victims and survivors was created by staff at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum from interviews of survivors who described not only their own experiences but those of friends and family. The text was used to create identification cards for use in classrooms. The majority of the 37 biographies in this collection pertain to children.

In 1864, a new charter of the gymnasiums was adopted. At the head of secondary schools were the director. The main contingent of gymnasium students were the children of noblemen, bureaucrats, and clergy. The director was subordinate to the Ministry of Education and Cults of Romania.

The collection consists of an Israeli flag, documents, and a photograph relating to the experiences of Paul Taylor as part of his duties as an aide to the mayor of New York City, charged with arrangements for visiting dignitaries in the 1950s.
